Meet Rashmi Vijayan - an upcoming playback singer !

Warriersonline is proud to showcase yet another talent from our community - Rashmi Vijayan (D/o of Shri Ramankutty Vijayan and Smt. Ragini Vijayan from Dubai UAE).

Rashmi is an upcoming playback singer and a wonderful stage artist.

We would like to share some interesting facts about Rashmi for our members:

• She can sing in five languages(including Arabic) and has been training in Carnatic music for eight years.
• For the last one year, she has also taken up Hindustani music.
• A good dancer, she learnt Bharatnatyam for eight years.
• Her hobbies include dancing, playing the keyboard, blogging, surfing the net and mimicry.
• She had been a part of Indian Idol Season 3 show, and also the Malayalam Reality show on Amrita TV, Super Star Global. Runner up at Zee TV Saregamapa Middle East Muqabla and numerous competitions in the UAE.
• Her friends say she is an amazing singer with good voice and sweet smile.
• She made her début as playback singer in Red Chillies, a Mohanlal movie. Music Director : M. Jayachandran. She has also rendered her voice in the Suresh Gopi starrer - I.G.
• Rashmi Vijayan, is doing her M.A.(Broadcast Communication) at The MOP Vaishnav College for Women at Chennai after completing her BA Media and Communications at Manipal University, Dubai Campus.
• She did her schooling at Our Own English High School, Dubai.
